Picked a $25 fan hub over a new case, airflow is actually better now

Was torn between swapping my case for one with more drive bays or just wiring up a cheap fan hub in my old Fractal. Went with the hub because the case itself was fine, just the cables were a mess. After 3 hours of rerouting, my GPU temps dropped 6 degrees and I didn't spend $120. Anyone else had a budget fix beat a full part swap?

My old Define R5 was the same way, rewired everything with a $15 PWM hub and my CPU fan curve actually behaves now, no more random ramping. Saved me from dropping cash on a whole new rig when the only real issue was cable spaghetti.

Did the random ramping go away completely after the hub, @loganhart, or just quiet down some?
