My buddy swore zipties were better than velcro straps for cable management
My friend Mike from Philly kept telling me to switch to zipties because they look cleaner. I finally tried it on my build last night and spent 45 minutes cutting all of them off because I had to swap a fan. Velcro for life, man. Anyone else ever get talked into a bad cable management method and regret it immediately?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with my first build! I switched to those little cable twist ties that come with electronics, they work way better than both zipties and velcro for me. You just twist them on and off in seconds without needing scissors or anything.

You ever try those velcro strips with the sticky backing? I learned that lesson the hard way too. Zipties are fine if you never need to change anything again, but that's never how computers work. I keep a roll of industrial velcro in my tool bag specifically for this reason. Much easier to just peel and reroute when you swap parts or clean dust.
