Guy at Micro Center told me fan orientation doesn't matter as long as the air moves

He was building a $3000 rig and had all three front fans pushing air out through the radiator with no exhaust, so I had to walk him through why his GPU was gonna choke over by the thermal paste aisle last Friday, has anyone else ran into builders who skip basic airflow logic?

Haha I had a guy argue static pressure was a myth while building in a SFF case once.

Jumped in and asked him how he thought fans in rads or pushing through tight grills even worked, cause air has to go somewhere. He said it was all about raw CFM and pressure readings were just marketing BS. I tried explaining that static pressure is literally the fan's ability to overcome resistance, like trying to blow through a straw versus open air. He just kept saying my Noctua industrial fans were a waste of money and I should've bought some cheap high airflow ones instead. Man, some people just refuse to learn physics no matter how many times you break it down for them.
