Finally ditched zip ties for velcro straps on my last build

I spent 3 hours last Saturday fighting a tangle of zip ties on a mini ITX case, and my fingers were raw by the end. A buddy who does professional cable management at a shop in Denver told me to try 100-pack velcro straps from the hardware store. The difference is night and day, I can reroute a bundle in seconds without snipping anything. Airflow got better too since I stopped over-tightening everything into weird bends. Has anyone else switched and found their build times drop that much?

Velcro is the only reason my cable management still has any blood flow to its fingers, honestly. I used to keep a pair of flush cutters on my desk just to free up a single SATA cable, and now they just sit there collecting dust like a museum exhibit of my past mistakes. Last build I had to move a fan header three times because I kept plugging it into the wrong spot on the board, and with zip ties that would've been a 20 minute grudge match. With velcro it was like 30 seconds and a mild eye roll at myself. You're making me want to redo my whole rig just so I can enjoy the process again. Were you one of those people who used to pre-cut all your zip ties to the same length for the "clean" look too?
