Changing my mind about zip ties after a dead GPU fan

I used to think zip ties were untouchable for interior builds, so when my middle GPU fan died at 3 months I blamed the card. Pulled the shroud during a lunch break in my garage in Austin and found a zip tie head pressing right against the fan hub, vibrating it loose. Swapped to reusable Velcro straps for everything past the PSU shroud and reseated the card, that fan spins quiet now. Six months later with a couple of upgrades, still no issues, but I wonder if anyone else has had a tie head cause a bearing failure like that.
