Can we talk about how I stopped chasing zero fan noise?
Used to spend hours tuning every fan curve under 800 RPM, but after swapping to a mesh front panel last month, I realized airflow beats silence. My CPU dropped 9 degrees at load, and honestly the hum is fine. Anyone else give up on whisper builds for better thermals?

Mesh front panels definitely help, but you're kinda glossing over the fact that your old case might've been the real problem, not the fans. Most whisper builds fail because people choke off airflow with solid glass or plastic, then blame the fans for running loud. Once you get decent intake, even cheap fans can run quiet most of the time and just ramp up when they need to, which is way easier than obsessing over 800 RPM curves.
