40 minute fan swap because I had the bracket backwards

I spent 40 minutes fighting a 120mm fan last night, convinced the screw holes were stripped or something. Turns out I had the mounting bracket flipped upside down the whole time, which is why nothing lined up. The little arrow on the frame pointed at the back of the case, not the front, and my GPU temp dropped 8 degrees once I flipped it. Has anyone else had a brain fog moment where the fix was just rotating a part 180 degrees?

Brain fog moment" is putting it lightly. I once spent a whole evening reseating a CPU cooler before realizing the mounting screws were meant to go in from the back of the board, not the front. The arrow on the fan frame is like a secret language nobody told us about. Good news is you got a temp drop out of it, so at least the extra 40 minutes bought you some thermal headroom.
