Everyone says puns win this forum but my 4 year old's made up joke got more groans than anything I've posted
I've spent two months crafting puns with double meanings for this board and my best one got 6 groans. Then my daughter mashed up two random words at dinner and said 'what do you call a sad coffee? a depresso' and I posted it as a joke. It hit 41 groans in a day, way more than anything I wrote after 30 tries. Turns out the messy ones from kids land harder than my polished setups. Anyone else notice their worst joke did better than the ones they worked on?
Oh man my buddy had the exact same thing happen lol. He spent weeks on these clever one liners and his 6 year old just went "why did the chicken cross the road? to get to the idiot's house, knock knock" and it blew up. Kids don't overthink it, they just say whatever pops in their head.
