Appreciation post: my dad's punny whiteboard at work finally got me

For years I rolled my eyes at his daily puns, like 'I used to hate facial hair, but then it grew on me' written in dry erase. Last Tuesday I caught myself chuckling at one about a broken pencil having no point, and now I'm the one adding jokes to the board. Anyone else suddenly turn into their dad's comedy clone after resisting for a decade?

Ha, hate to be that guy but the broken pencil joke is actually way older than your dad. That one's been floating around forever, pretty sure it was a thing when I was a kid. Not trying to rain on your parade, the whiteboard thing is still cool. Just saying if you're gonna join the pun game you gotta bring something fresh, cause the classics are already taken. Welcome to the club either way though, sounds like your dad finally wore you down.
