Why nobody talks about phishing tests on construction company emails

My boss had us take a phishing test last month through our work email. I clicked a link that said "job site schedule update" without thinking twice. Turns out it was a fake, and I got flagged for training. Learned that scammers target small businesses like ours because we don't think about it. Anyone else deal with these tests at your company?

lol "felt like a total fool for hours" that part got me. but real talk, how long did it take you to actually realize it was fake? i was sitting there refreshing for like 20 minutes before i noticed the url was some weird misspelling of the official site. it made me wonder though, are these phishing attempts getting better or are we just getting too used to clicking stuff without checking first? cause the layout looked legit enough to fool me for way too long, and i consider myself pretty careful online.
