PSA: I just switched from a free password manager to a paid one

I was using a free app for years, but last month I saw a post here about how some free ones sell your data. The choice was simple: keep using the free one or pay $36 a year for a trusted brand. I went with the paid option, and the setup took about an hour to move all my logins over. It feels way more secure knowing my info isn't being shared. Has anyone else made a similar switch recently? Which service did you pick?

Was it a hard change to make at first? I know @stone.evan mentioned feeling better, but my friend tried something similar and actually had a rough first week before it clicked. She said her brain just fought the new routine even though she knew it was good for her. It makes me wonder if pushing through that initial weird phase is the real key.
