Pro tip: lock your screen at the coffee shop, even for a 30 second bathroom run
Last Tuesday at the Bean Counter on 5th in Portland I left my laptop open to grab a refill and a guy two tables over was already leaning in to read my screen when I got back. Nothing got taken but my work email was right there in plain view, so I set a 2 minute auto lock on my machine that night. Also started using a privacy screen since the tables are packed so tight. Anyone else have a close call like this, or do you just never leave your stuff alone at all?

That leaning in guy was reading my screen too, probably just wanted to know if my fantasy football team was as bad as his. I once ran to the bathroom for "30 seconds" and came back to find my laptop had gone to sleep, which is honestly the best wingman a machine can be.
