Old router finally gave up after 8 years

My Netgear R7000 died on me last Tuesday during a Teams call. No warning, just a blinking power light and nothing. Had to scramble to dig out the old ISP modem and use that while I waited for a replacement. Anyone else run into a router just flat out dying with no signs beforehand?

Did you try a hard reset first? Sometimes they can fake you out.

Yeah I've had a router crap out mid-meeting before, try holding the reset pin in for 30 seconds.
