My password manager saved me after a data breach at work last Tuesday
I got an email from my boss saying our company database got hit by a phishing attack. Turns out 200 employee logins were leaked on a dark web forum. My password manager had me set up with unique 16-character passwords for everything, so my accounts were fine. A coworker who reused passwords lost access to his personal email and bank. Have any of you had to explain to family why they need to stop reusing passwords?

You ever try explaining to your mom that "password123" isn't cutting it anymore? I had to sit my sister down after she used the same password for her Netflix account and her online banking. She looked at me like I was speaking another language.

Just a heads up, that was a phishing attack that got your coworker, not a data breach on the company database.
