My cat stepped on my keyboard and found a weird security hole
So I was working from home in Austin, trying to set up a new router, and my cat jumped on the desk. He walked right across the keyboard while I was in the admin panel. Suddenly, the whole page refreshed and I was logged out. I typed the password wrong three times trying to get back in and got locked out for 15 minutes. When I finally got back, I saw the login page had a 'forgot password' link that sent a reset to the email on file... which was an old email I don't check. I had to call my internet provider, and the guy walked me through setting up a whole new admin email right then. It made me realize I hadn't updated the recovery contact for any of my smart home stuff in like two years. Has anyone else had a pet cause a security check that showed a weak spot?

Guess your cat's better at security audits than most IT departments (no offense to IT folks).

My cat just sits on the keyboard and deletes my code. I mean, that's more of a denial of service attack than an audit.
