Got hit by a fake Google login page on my phone, the laptop saved me
Last Tuesday I was on my phone waiting for coffee in Denver and tapped a link about a package delivery, and it took me to a page that looked exactly like my Gmail login. I typed my email and password right in, but something felt off so I grabbed my laptop and opened the same link there. My browser flashed a full red warning page saying the site was phishing, and that's when I realized my phone gave me zero warning about any of it. The difference was my laptop's browser had the phishing list on and my phone's webview just trusted whatever loaded. Do you all run any extra phishing block on your phones, or is it just me who got lucky here?
