Blew $60 on a password manager I didn't need
I jumped on a deal for a premium password manager last month thinking it would fix all my login issues. Turns out the free browser-based one I was already using did exactly the same thing, just without the fancy interface. I lost $60 and spent an hour migrating data for nothing. Anyone else fall for the 'premium is always better' trap with security tools?

Used to think premium meant better. This changed my mind totally.

Totally agree with you here. I fell for the same trap for years, thinking if I paid more it had to be better quality. Then I bought a well-reviewed mid-range item and it outlasted the "premium" version by years. Really opened my eyes to how much of that pricing is just marketing hype.
