Vent: My old Dell case PSU bracket snapped mid-build
Was slotting my new 750w PSU into a 2002 Optiplex case last weekend and the rear bracket just cracked off. Had to drill new holes and zip tie it in place until I can find a proper bracket on eBay. Anyone else run into vintage case parts giving out like that?

Pfft, @charlie_fisher45 is totally right about zip ties being a permanent fix honestly. I've got a PSU in an old HP case that's been held up with two zip ties and a bent paperclip for like a year now and it's still going strong. People act like you need a perfect bracket but half the time the case is already dented or rusted anyway so what's the difference. That Dell plastic they used in the early 2000s gets super brittle after a couple decades too, I had a side panel latch crumble to dust just from looking at it wrong.

Ngl thats not that big of a deal. You can run a PSU with a couple zip ties for months just fine tbh. Ive done way sketchier stuff with old Dell cases and never had an issue.
