Update: my 2003 eMachines case finally got a proper transplant

I hauled that beige box through 3 moves since college, and last week I shoved a Ryzen 5 and a 3060 in it after cutting the drive cage out with a $14 angle grinder. The plastic front lip still clips on perfect, but the airflow is so bad the GPU fans spin at 100% unless I leave the side off. Has anyone else run into heat issues with these old stamped steel cases, or did you just cut more holes?
