Spent $28 on a 90 degree PCIe riser from a guy on Craigslist and it saved my whole sleeper build
I've been cramming a 3080 into a beige 1998 Dell Dimension case I grabbed at a garage sale in Tacoma for 10 bucks, and the card was hitting the drive cage hard. A local guy sold me a used 90 degree riser for $28 off Craigslist and it cleared everything with maybe a quarter inch to spare. I know the cheap risers can tank your bandwidth, but so far this one has held up fine under load. Anybody got a riser brand that's actually survived more than a year in a tight retro case?

What brand is that riser? I've been burned twice by no name ones off Amazon that worked for like 3 months then started throwing errors. Also how are your temps in that Dell case with the 3080?
