Just realized my old Compaq case hides my new build better than any modern design
I spent 3 hours last night modding a 1998 beige Compaq desktop to fit a full ATX board and 3060 Ti. Anyone else find that the more beat up the old case looks, the less anyone thinks to ask about what's inside?

No way, a 3060 Ti in a beige Compaq from 1998? That's insane in the best way. Bet the airflow is a nightmare but the stealth factor is worth it. Did you have to cut out the drive bays to fit that card?

Did you have to cut out the drive bays, or just shove it in there sideways? Honestly I've done similar builds and you end up losing a lot of storage space, but if it fits it fits. Ngl the 3060 Ti runs hot anyway, so just make sure your side panel isn't completely solid plastic or you'll cook it.
