Just realized I had my intake fan blowing the wrong way in this old Gateway case for 2 years
Pulled the side panel off my sleeper build last night because my 3080 was hitting 84C in a 2001 Gateway 2000 tower I gutted. Sat there staring at it and noticed the front fan was pulling air OUT, not in. I had flipped it back when I first built it, thinking the sticker facing out meant it was set up right. Two years of running it like that. Flipped it around and my GPU temps slid to 71C under the same load in Cyberpunk. I just laughed at myself for like ten minutes. Curious if anyone else has built a sleeper and messed up the airflow direction for way longer than they want to admit?
