I finally saw a sleeper PC in the wild at a retro gaming expo
Went to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo last weekend and this guy had a beige 1995 Dell tower that weighed like 50 pounds. He popped the side panel and inside was a Ryzen 7 with a 4070 Ti crammed in there. I asked why he didn't just use a modern case and he said 'because nobody expects Doom Eternal to run on this relic'. Honestly it was the coolest thing I saw all day. Anyone else run into a sleeper at a show or convention that blew your mind?

Wait, a 4070 Ti inside an old Dell case? That card alone is massive, I don't see how that even fits without some serious cutting. Those old cases have zero airflow too, that thing must run hot as hell. Honestly impressive he got it all in there without it looking like a mess from the outside. That's a whole different level of patience compared to just building in a normal modern case.

Zero airflow" and "4070 Ti" in the same sentence is a real bold strategy.
