Blew $150 on a custom PSU shroud that didn't fit my sleeper case

Thought I was being smart ordering a premade shroud for my Dell Optiplex sleeper build. Turns out the dimensions on the listing were for a standard ATX case, not the weird cramped layout of a 2005 office tower. Spent two hours with a dremel trying to make it work, finally just chucked it in the trash. Lesson learned: measure everything three times before you click buy on those specialty parts. Anyone else get burned by trying to force modern parts into old cases?

@uma_reed26 that PSU shroud might save your whole build if a screw drops behind the mobo.
