Rant: booked the inside cabin to save $700 on a 7 day Alaska run, worst sleep of my life

No window meant no clue when it got light out, so I woke up at 11am and missed the glacier in Tracy Arm. Anyone else had an inside cabin totally wreck a port day, or is it just me?
