My cabin toilet backed up on night two of a 7 night Alaska run and the plumber said it was my fault
We were somewhere past Ketchikan on the second night when the toilet in cabin 7421 started gurgling and then just filled up. I called guest services and a plumber showed up 40 minutes later, poked around, and told me I must have flushed something I shouldn't have. I hadn't, so I asked him to check the vacuum line, and sure enough the valve two cabins down was bad and three other rooms had the same problem that week. Has anyone else gotten blamed for a ship plumbing issue that turned out to be their equipment, and did you push back or just let it go?
