I wasted $18 a day on cruise drinks until a bartender in Cozumel said one sentence to me
For my first four cruises I bought every cocktail, beer, and soda one at a time and never thought twice about the bill until the last morning statement showed up. On a 7 day trip out of Miami my bar tab came to $612, which is more than I paid for the room itself. A bartender on the pool deck in Cozumel glanced at my receipt, laughed, and said "why aren't you on the package, you drink more than my regulars." I did the math on napkin and the package would have run me $413 for the same week. Now I want to hear from people who swear the package is a rip off, because what am I missing?
