After 3 canceled ports last week, I'm questioning balcony cabins forever
We did the Western Caribbean route out of Tampa and got hit by weather twice. Cozumel and Costa Maya both got scratched, and we only had an hour in Belize before heading back. My partner says the balcony was still worth the extra $400 because we saw dolphins from the room, but I keep thinking we could've spent that cash on a suite or two shore excursions. The crew handled the changes well, but the whole trip felt like a floating hotel room with no payoff. Has anyone else had a big itinerary shakeup that made them rethink booking a high floor cabin? Or am I being too harsh on balconies because of one bad week?
