Unpopular take: giving writers a random word like "lighthouse" is lazy, my Tuesday group in Dayton switched to 3 objects from the room and the stories got way better
We ran 12 rounds that way and not one person wrote the same plot twice, so if your prompt is just a single noun you're basically handing everyone the same story, and I want to know if anyone else has tried the objects-from-the-room thing or if my group is just weird.

But a single word gives everyone freedom, forcing objects just makes all twelve stories about your boring room.
