Sat down to write a spooky scene and my laptop blue screened 20 minutes in

I was in my local coffee shop in Portland trying to crank out a horror short for a contest. Had this great creepy atmosphere going with rain hitting the windows and everything. Then my screen froze and I got that blue error code out of nowhere. Lost the whole file because I hadn't hit save once. Now I'm wondering if anyone else uses autosave plugins or just types in Google Docs to avoid this mess.

Not gonna lie, I used to think this stuff was all bad luck or whatever, but @craig.parker made me see how sometimes getting blocked is better than what you were about to walk into. Changed my whole view on it.
