Nearly lost my entire nanowrimo draft when my laptop bricked mid-sentence on day 24
Had to pull the hard drive myself with a screwdriver from a kitchen drawer, and I'm still not sure if the file is corrupted because it glitched on the last page when I reopened it in google docs yesterday, has anyone else had to salvage a project from a dead machine like this?

Ngl did you try dragging the file into a clean google doc?

No way, dragging it into a clean google doc could actually mess up the formatting even WORSE. I always just open the file directly and let it convert on its own.
