Wait, isn't the real problem that these prompts are designed to make you feel deep without actually saying anything? Like, I saw one that was "what color is your grief?" and it got thousands of shares, but it's literally just assigning emotions to crayons. Another one that kills me is "what would your 10 year old self think of you now?" which is basically just nostalgia bait that makes you feel guilty instead of actually reflecting. They're not thought provoking, they're thought blocking - they give you a fake deep framework so you don't have to sit with actual uncomfortable silence.

My go-to move is scanning for the "this one weird trick" posts, theyre always repackaged personality tests from 2015. Just skip anything that asks "what would your pet name your autobiography?
