Was dead set against load cells until a foreman made me use them on a tight job in Atlanta last spring
Came up learning to feel the swing by hand and always thought those sensors were just overkill, but that one job with a 20 ton Grove proved me dead wrong. Has anyone else had a tool or system they swore off until a specific situation made them a believer?

Nah man, auto-tension winches are for specific setups, not every day general use.

Ngl, I was the same way with auto-tension winches until a buddy's fingers almost got wrapped up on a nasty job. Told him that's what you get for being too proud to let a machine help. Funny how one close call can turn you from a purist into a pragmatist real quick.
