Ran into my buddy Mike at the hardware store last week, and he was complaining about his adjustable setup. He spent like three hours tweaking it on a weekend project and still ended up with a wonky cut. Said he finally gave up and just clamped a block of wood as a temporary stop, worked way better than the fancy stuff. Made me think there's something to be said for simple fixed setups, no matter how cool the adjustable ones look.
