Near miss with a swinging load on a windy morning in Cleveland

About two weeks ago I was lifting a steel beam on a site near the lake, and a gust caught the load at 60 feet, swinging it right toward a crew scaffolding. I dropped the load fast and swung the boom clear, but it taught me to check the wind at height, not just ground level. Anyone else had a load act up like that in gusty conditions?

Yeah, did you check the wind meter at boom height after that?
