Yeah, the gauge is just a tool. You still gotta look at the flags and feel it yourself.

Funny you mention that @the_seth, because I've noticed this same thing happening everywhere. People treat their weather apps like gospel even when the sky is clearly doing something else. Or they'll trust the checkout line's estimated wait time instead of just looking with their own two eyes. It's like we're all scared to trust what's right in front of us.
