Just rolled past 10,000 hours in the cab and it snuck up on me

I was checking my logbook last night after a long shift on a tower crane site in downtown Austin. The counter on my main hoist hit 10,421 hours and I realized I must have crossed 10,000 sometime last month without even noticing. It's weird because I remember sweating through my first 100 hours like it was a big deal, but now the time just melts away. Has anyone else had that moment where a big milestone slipped by quietly?

10,421 hours?? Bro that's insane that you didn't even notice. I remember hitting 500 hours on my forklift and I was so proud I texted my whole family haha.

Used to think hitting big numbers like this would feel huge, but your post makes me realize it's more about the work you've done than the count. All those hours just add up naturally when you're focused on the job and not watching the clock. Makes me feel a lot better about my own hours piling up without fanfare.
