Thought Rocket League split screen was a joke until my brother made me try it on a 32 inch TV
My brother kept bugging me for like 3 weekends straight to do split screen Rocket League with him and I kept putting it off because I figured a car soccer game could not work on a shared screen. I finally caved last Saturday when he came over with his controller, and we sat on the couch for 5 hours straight playing 2v2 against online teams. The split screen is actually clean, both halves stay at 60fps on my old PS4, and you can see your teammate's screen out of the corner of your eye which is weirdly helpful for setting up passes. I went from talking trash about it to staying up until 1am trying to hit a ceiling shot, which I still cannot do. We went 14 and 9 that night and he carried most of it, but I got the winning goal in our last match. Now I am wondering if there are other games where the split screen version is actually the better way to play, anyone got picks?
