Rant: my buddy swore splitscreen was dead, then I checked co-optimus and found 340 new couch games in 2025 alone
My friend Dave keeps saying nobody makes local co-op anymore so we should just play online, and I almost believed him until I pulled up co-optimus last week and counted over 340 couch co-op games that came out just in 2025. Thirty of those are split screen, and we already burned through Split Fiction and It Takes Two twice, so he had zero excuse left. So what is the one local game you keep pushing on a stubborn friend who swears the couch days are over?
