My 12 year old nephew called me a coward in Divinity Original Sin 2 and I have never been more proud
We were stuck on the final fight at level 20 for like two hours last Saturday at my sister's place in Fresno, and I kept telling him to just let me do the talking because my persuasion stat was maxed out. He grabbed the controller out of my hands and said, "you always play it safe and it makes co op boring, let me talk to the bad guy." He failed every single speech check and got us both killed in like 30 seconds, but then he reloaded the save and tried like six more times until he got it right on his own. I've been playing couch co op with him since he was 8 and I never thought I'd see the day he told me to back off and let him figure it out. Anyone else got a younger sibling or kid who low key became the better player in your co op group?
