Wasted $80 on a fancy hair dryer that did nothing special

I bought one of those $80 ionic ceramic hair dryers last month thinking it would cut my drying time in half. After using it for three weeks, I timed it against my old $25 drugstore dryer and the difference was maybe 30 seconds. The cool shot button broke after five uses too. I should have just stuck with what I had and saved the cash. Anybody else fall for the marketing on expensive tools that dont really deliver?

Hold up, you actually timed it? That's wild. I can't believe you did a whole side by side test. Most people just guess and say it's faster. The cool shot button breaking after five uses is honestly the most believable part of this whole thing. These companies slap a fancy name on a cheap motor and charge 80 bucks because they know people want to believe it's magic. Sorry you got burned, but thanks for taking one for the team and actually proving it's a scam.

EXACTLY. I bought one of those "turbo" blenders and the button literally fell off on day three. People really do just want to believe spending more money fixes everything. Nothing beats actually testing stuff yourself and sharing the real results.
