One client's comment made me rethink my whole balayage technique
Had a woman last month say my highlights looked 'splotchy' in certain light. I was defensive at first but she was right... I was rushing the saturation step. Started using smaller sections and letting the bleach process 8 minutes longer and the difference is night and day. Anyone else had a client point out something that actually improved your work?

Honestly I used to think section size didn't matter that much but you're totally right about this.

You said "didn't matter that much" and I gotta push back hard on that... section size is honestly one of the most overrated things people argue about. I've sat through enough tough courses where the section was packed and it still worked fine because the professor knew what they were doing. Small sections with a bad teacher are way worse than a big section with someone who actually explains things well. Plus you get more perspectives and different questions in a bigger group, which helps fill in gaps you didn't even know you had. Not saying small is always bad but people act like it's the only thing that matters and that just isn't true.
