Just dropped $90 on a new shears sharpening service and I'm not sure it was worth it
I sent my favorite pair of shears out to this company I saw recommended online, paid for the premium service. Got them back yesterday and they feel... off. The edge is sharp, but the tension and the action are just not the same as before. It's like they messed with the balance. I'm doing a haircut now and my hand is cramping up after twenty minutes. Has anyone else had a sharpening ruin the feel of their shears, and did you ever get them back to normal?

My barber said some sharpeners grind the wrong bevel angle.

Yeah, my buddy had that exact thing happen. Sent his good kitchen shears out, got them back sharp enough to shave with, but the pivot was so loose the blades would wobble. He had to take them to a local guy to get the screw adjusted right.
