Warning: My crew refuses to use the new blueprint viewer, I think it's essential.

They claim the digital viewer is clumsy on tablets at the site. Prefer printed sheets they can mark up fast. I admit the learning curve is steep, but it shows real-time updates from the office. Caught a revised plumbing layout before we framed the wrong wall. That saved a rework. Is ditching paper really that bad for efficiency? Tell me your side.

Consider the time saved catching that mistake versus marking up paper.

Printing a 20-page report just to correct one spelling error seems like a lot of work. @the_patricia is spot on about how much quicker it is to fix things digitally. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but going through paper feels like we're pretending it's the 1990s again. The time you save not hunting for a red pen or dealing with printer jams is pretty big. It's kinda funny how we sometimes ignore the easier way to do things. Yeah, catching a mistake on screen beats shuffling pages any day.

Used to be all about paper markups myself. Then one time the digital update caught a big mistake before we poured concrete. Now I see why the real-time link is so helpful.
