Threw away $300 on a project management app that didnt work for our crew

I bought a year subscription to Buildertrend back in February for my 8-man crew in Austin. It looked great on paper but half my guys couldnt figure out how to log their hours on their phones. After 3 months of fighting it I just gave up and went back to whiteboards and text messages. Anyone else waste cash on software that just wasnt practical for the field?

Totally get the frustration, man. Probably the same people who design those touchscreens on new trucks where you gotta tap three menus just to change the radio station. Meanwhile I'm out here with wet gloves trying to use a tablet that thinks mud is a finger swipe. It's like they test this stuff in a clean office with dry hands.
