i'm not sure 8 hours on one house is really that big of a deal honestly. seems like you'd save more time just getting good at the manual takeoffs in the first place.

My tape measure is still traumatized from my last manual takeoff where I misread a wall dimension by 4 inches and ended up ordering 88 extra studs. So 8 hours saved on one house sounds like a dream to me, even if I still spend half that time trying to remember which button does what in the software. I figure at my current learning curve, I might break even on time savings by 2027.
