Overheard a PM say we should just "skip the punch list" on a $2M job
Guy says it saves time. I almost dropped my coffee. That list is the only thing keeping us from getting sued six months later. Last time we skipped one on a school renovation in Birmingham, we had to redo three bathrooms. Has anyone else had a boss try to cut corners like this?

Three bathrooms? Rookie numbers. We skipped a punch list on a church gym floor in Mobile and the tile started popping up during Easter service. Old ladies in heels almost broke their ankles. PM said "it'll be fine, they won't notice." Yeah they noticed when the floor looked like a checkerboard that got hit with a sledgehammer.
