My project manager pushed for a single software suite and it backfired

He told our team in Denver to put everything into one big system for a 9 month build, saying it would cut costs and keep things simple. We moved all our scheduling, billing, and field reports into it by March. The problem was the mobile app crashed so much that crews spent more time fixing tech than working. We lost almost two full days just trying to get daily logs submitted. Has anyone else had a plan for 'one tool to rule them all' fall apart on a tight schedule?

Man, we learned the hard way to always test the mobile app on-site first.

Seen that movie before. They always sell the single suite as a time saver until it becomes your full time job. Classic case of the plan looking perfect on a whiteboard.
