I finally gave up on getting our project's cost codes to sync between the office and the field.

The setup guide said it would take an hour, but I spent two full days trying to get our accounting software to talk to the field management app, only to find out the mapping tool was broken in the last update. Has anyone else run into a sync problem that just would not fix, and what did you do to get around it?

My buddy had that exact same headache last month. He ended up just making a shared spreadsheet as a go-between, which is dumb but it works.

Oh man, that setup guide time estimate is the biggest lie in tech. I once spent a whole weekend trying to sync two apps before realizing I'd misread the instructions on page one.
