Hot take: Procore’s submittal tool works way better if you bulk upload first
Ngl I spent like 6 months manually entering each submittal item one by one on a hospital job outside Phoenix. Then my PM showed me you can import a CSV with the whole schedule of values in 10 minutes. Took me maybe 2 tries to match the column headers right but after that it saved like 8 hours a week. Anyone else’s team sleeping on the import feature?

My buddy works for a mechanical contractor down in Tucson and he was doing the same thing, manually punching in every submittal for a water treatment plant upgrade. He bitched about it for weeks until their BIM guy walked over, loaded up a CSV, and had everything in Procore before his coffee got cold. The guy showed him how to map the manufacturer names and model numbers from their takeoff software, and now he says he can get submittals approved the same day instead of waiting a week. He still talks about those wasted hours like it was some kind of construction trauma. Procore really hides its best tricks sometimes.

I've been in that exact spot too, believe it or not. People don't realize how much time they waste on manual data entry when a simple CSV import can do the heavy lifting in seconds. Honestly, once you learn those little shortcuts, you'll never go back to typing out submittals one by one again.
